Refund & Purchase Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

This Refund & Purchase Policy explains how ticket purchases, refunds, and cancellations work on Eventbone, an event-ticketing platform operated by 612 Technologies LLC (“612 Technologies,” “Eventbone,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy is part of our Terms of Service and uses the same defined terms.

1. Scope & Who Sets Refunds

Eventbone is a technology and platform provider. When you buy a ticket, your purchase contract is with the Organizer of the Event, not with Eventbone. The Organizer sets the refund terms for its Event and makes refund decisions, subject to this Policy and to applicable law. Because the ticket face price settles to the Organizer’s connected Stripe account, the Organizer is the party who funds and approves refunds of the ticket price.

Where the law grants a Buyer a refund right — for example, upon cancellation of an Event — that right applies regardless of an Organizer’s stated policy. This Policy describes how refunds work through the Platform; it does not limit any right you have under applicable law.

2. All-In Pricing

The price shown to you at checkout is an all-in total. It includes the ticket price set by the Organizer, the flat $0.85 Eventbone service fee per paid ticket, and the card processing fee. You will not be charged surprise fees after checkout. If any government taxes apply to your purchase, they are shown separately before you complete the purchase.

3. Ticket-Price Refunds

Whether you can obtain a refund of the ticket price depends on the situation:

4. Cancellation, Postponement & Rescheduling

Canceled Events. If an Event is canceled and not rescheduled, you are refunded the full amount you paid, including the $0.85 Eventbone service fee.

Postponed or rescheduled Events. If an Event is postponed or rescheduled, your ticket generally remains valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, a refund of the ticket price is available on request, consistent with California law.

Consistent with California Business & Professions Code section 22507, where a refund is due for a canceled, postponed, or rescheduled Event, the Organizer will provide it within thirty (30) days of the request or of the cancellation, as applicable. If an Organizer is unable to fund a required refund, Eventbone will assist the Buyer in seeking resolution, including through the payment processor, to the extent we are able.

5. Service Fee & Processing Fee Treatment

Eventbone service fee. The flat $0.85 Eventbone service fee is charged for providing the Platform. It is non-refundable on a discretionary or change-of-mind refund, where only the ticket price is returned to you. However, if an Event is canceled and not rescheduled, you are refunded the full amount you paid, including the $0.85 service fee — Eventbone returns its fee to you and absorbs the payment processor's cost.

Card processing fee. The card processing fee is charged by the payment processor (Stripe). When a refund is issued, processing fees may or may not be returned by Stripe depending on Stripe’s then-current practices. Eventbone does not separately mark up the processing fee.

Where applicable law requires that the full amount you paid — including fees — be refunded (for example, upon cancellation of certain Events), that legal requirement controls, and the service fee will be refunded to the extent the law requires.

6. How Refunds Are Issued

Refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot redirect a refund to a different card or account. Once a refund is initiated, it typically takes several business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer. You will generally receive an email confirmation when a refund is processed.

7. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you have a problem with a purchase or an Event, please contact the Organizer first, and you may also contact Eventbone support at support@eventbone.com. We will do our best to help resolve the issue quickly. Requesting a chargeback with your card issuer before contacting us can delay resolution and, in some cases, void the ticket. Disputed amounts and any related fees are allocated to the Organizer that received the ticket price, as described in our Terms of Service.

8. Duplicate or Erroneous Charges

If you believe you were charged more than once for the same ticket, or charged in error, contact support@eventbone.com with your order details. We will investigate and, where a genuine duplicate or erroneous charge is confirmed, coordinate a refund of the affected amount to your original payment method.

9. Ticket Transfers

Where an Organizer permits it, a ticket may be transferred to another person. When a ticket is transferred, the original ticket copy is voided and only the transferred ticket remains valid for entry, to prevent duplicate admission. Transfers do not change the underlying purchase or refund terms.

10. Contact for Refund Requests

Because the Organizer controls refunds for its Event, the Organizer is your primary contact for a refund request; you can usually reach the Organizer through the order confirmation or Event page. Eventbone support can assist and help coordinate where needed.
